A few weeks ago, a friend gave me this wonderful book for my birthday.  Its just amazing!!  I am in love with the color, prints and personality of Vera Neumann. 

Vera Neumann believed in arts ability to inspire and enrich lives. She loved to be creative and believed in her passion and artwork, traveled the world for inspiration, believed that people should surround themselves with beauty and built one of the most successful run female companies.  Best of all, the book provides all of her collected illustrations and artwork - so 1970s chic!  Vera was ahead of her time and an inspiration to NHD!

Who doesnt love a fun find on Etsy?  I was looking for an Iphone cover and found this AMAZING shop, McKinley Margo.  The have a line of personalize Iphone + Ipad wallpaper. Fun prints that can be monogrammed and only $4!  Also, a great mini present for anyone on your Xmas Shopping list.

On Holiday.....

We are off to India + Hong Kong for my 30th birthday!  I have always wanted to go to India for the shopping, culture and colors! My husband & I have been to Hong Kong before, but wanted to visit again since it is our favorite city in the world....amazing food, shopping, nightlife and $5 - hour long foot massages!  

 Looking forward to starting off my 30s by doing what I love - traveling the world and Noble House Designs!  Cheers to the best year yet!

In honor of Fashion Night Out and Fashion Week starting in NYC - what better then to preview the colors of Spring 2012!  PANTONE just released their Fashion Color Report for Spring 2012.  I love this palette especially # 8, 5, 4, 3 and 10.  What colors are your favorite?

Don't you just love when you find a fun, easy and cheap DIY project?  I am not going to lie, its freaking fantastic!

That is why I am mesmerized by Erica Domesek of P.S. - I Made this.....  Check out this luxe home accessory project that is so easy to do but packs a visual punch.

I have a ton of accessories and ceramic animals that are all different finishes and after this weekend, they will be gold!

Kitchen Redo - Part I

Faucet,/ Marble,/ Hicks Pendant, /Cabinet Hardware/Artwork

Since the move into the new house, I have been dreaming of gutting and doing a complete redo of our kitchen. The time is here! Next week we start on the project and I am so ready to get this party started!

We are changing the countertops, back splash, sink, faucet, lighting & appliances. My vision is White, Navy, Grey and Modern. 
I am most excited for my Thomas O'Brien Hicks Pendant (from Circa Lighting - my favorite lighting store!) with modern lines + nautical flair that I want over our new kitchen Island.  I am sure in the design world, this pendant is old but I LOVE IT!! I also found great hardware, Farmhouse kitchen sink and faucet to go with my honed carrara marble counter tops.

Excited to have a finished kitchen, but not looking forward to living in this mess for the weeks to come. Be on the look out for before + After pictures.

Fall Flats....

I love shoes, especially great flats!  I stumbled across this line called Pretty Ballerinas out of Spain but they have a store in NYC and LA!

They have the best designs from nautical to sparkles.  My favorite are the gold sparkle with bows - they are the exact replica from Miu Miu's line.

Summer Collection 2011

Happy Monday!  Hope you all had a great weekend.   I had a long productive weekend finishing the last of my Summer Collection 2011.  My inspiration was anything colorful and tribal!  Enjoy!

Ladies, this is what I live for!  Finding amazing high end furniture for IKEA pricing.  Guess which chair is $1069.00 and which one is $149!  Same dimensions and quality - one is name brand and one is simply a sweet knockoff.

Chair A - is the affordable bar stool from my favorite website, HomeDecorators.com.  For only $149!  

Chair B - is the stylish and amazing Bertoia Bar Stool for Knoll.  Designed by Harry Bertoia in 1952, this is Mid Century Modern Design at its finest.

I have been looking for bar stools to go with our island in the new kitchen and was leaning towards the Knoll Bertoia Bar stool for awhile but dreading to spend that much for chairs. Deal!
